Dragon leaped up into the mangrove trees as an crocodile swam by, eyeing him hungrily. He hissed at it and soared to another tree and then another, hoping Sharktooth wasn't still following.

But indeed she was. Her skill and flexibilty through the mangroves were fiercely strong, and she moved swiftly, her eyes burning fury.

He gave her a sharp hiss and with a crack, the branch he was on snapped as leaped away, landing on the other tree. Suddenly, there was a roaring sound and crocodile emerged, going at the base of a mangrove. Dragon hissed at it, but fear was in his eyes. Climbing higher, the branch beneath his snapped and he soared downward, landing on the croc.
It flipped around and dove at him, sending him flying into the marsh. The water was murky and he was blind, flailing his legs madly. He felt a croc and saw a large eye. Unsheathing his claws, he scratched it and ran up the mangrove after resurfacing. He shook off his fur and hissed at the crocodile.
"Die, die, die, Dragon That Breathes Fire!" the crocodile roared. "By the will of the Tribe of Endless Hunting!"
Dragon yowled as the tree snapped again and he plummeted towards the crocodile's open jaws...

Sharktooth's heart pumped as it was-in that very moment- she realized the affection she held for the tribe cat. Reacting instantly, she soared and Sharktooth shoved his body out of the way, onto the shore nearby, and finally her worried eyes grew calm again-until she remembered crocodiles could come onto land also.

In surprise, the crocodile hissed, "Get out of the way, you stupid ugly Clan cat!"
Dragon hissed and stepped forward. "She isn't stupid and she isn't ugly! Now either fight me like the cat I know you are or stay as a coward in that crocodile!"
The crocodile hissed and shudder ran through its body. A second later a misty figure flew from his nostrils and the croc looked around with confusion before sinking into the marsh again. The misty figure dove at Dragon, who rolled out of the way. Then it turned around. It flew right through him and at the same moment his pelt turned blue and then black again.
"Agggg! Interfering StarClan!" the misty figure roared before vanishing.
Suddering, Dragon ran to Sharktooth. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Sharktooth licked a small scartch on her fur. "For the most part, yes." She scanned him. "Hmm, are you hurt?" She asked in a worried voice.

"No," he murmured, swaggering a little. Why had StarClan tried to protect him? He sat next to Sharktooth and licked her ear. "I'm scaring myself, that's all..."

"But," Sharktooth smiled. "That was the work of StarClan." She was thoughtful for a moment, and added "I suppose they care for you as a regular clan cat,"

And with that, Dragon fainted onto Sharktooth. In fact, he was a large tom, so he had probably given her a bruise.

Sharktooth blinked. Ouch! Was her first thought. But then she realized his unconcious body. Quickly, she lugged his heavy muscular body a few feet away from the roaring water.

Then he woke up. "Alright, that was uncalled for," he huffed. "Now I think I should tell you... the truth."

"Quite." Sharktooth chuckled. She took a deep breath, unknowing of the 'truth'.

"I wasn't exactly... welcome in my Tribe," Dragon sighed. "In fact, they thought I was some sort of evil villian. Because there was a prophecy... and they said I would kill alot of cats. And I did, but it wasn't just me. my brother was helping, too. And they were evil cats- they wanted to destroy our Tribe! However, the Tribe didn't believe me and my brother didn't admit he helped and they outcast me." He paused a moment. "I followed them around and said the mountain lion ambush them... and killed them. All of them. And my brother was angry at me, so he tries to scare me."

Sharktooth felt like a hairball was stuck in her throat. "And, that was the past," She meowed quietly. "Even if wasn't really your fault!" She shook her head, and continued. "But, again, I suppose it really is the past, and we'll always have StarClan with us anyway." Sharktooth gave him a warm, affectionate gaze, and pawed the sand neatly.

"It was my fault!" he hissed. "I'm a murderer!!!!!"
"You're a what?!" Gracefur gasped from her spot on a tree nearby. "I'm going to tell Flamestar!" she exclaimed in shock, darting off before anyone could protest.
