Carefully, Silverflower picked her way among the grass and thorns near the river's edge. Her eyes were focused on her surroundings, searching around for a few sprigs of tansy here or there; she had been running low, and with leaf bare setting in, she would need it. Suddenly spying a few plants still in bloom, Silverflower carefully made her way towards it, not noticing how terribly close it was to the edge of Big River. Reaching out a paw, she snagged it on one of her claws and tugged it back, hoping to break it off the stem.
It didn't work.
Pitching forewards, Silverflower gave a cry of surprise as she was swept into the river, only barely clinging onto the ground with one paw dug deep into the soil. "Help!" she cried, though her voice was muffled by the sound of the roaring water.

(Are you killing her off?)
Stripepaw ran over to the cry. "Silverflower!" she paused a moment. Should she save her? If she let her die, that would be one less cat to worry about.

(No, I was just inactive with her and felt the need to post. xD)
"Are you going to help me, or not?!" Silverflower gasped, managing to get a better grip on the ground, though she could feel herself weakening in the cold water...

Stripepaw stepped forward and flinched. What should she do? She put her paw on Silverflower's and unsheathed her claws, digging them into her furry paw. She tried to pry her off but then looked at Silverflower. She lost her breath and bent over, grabbing what was left of Silverflower's kit scruff and hauling her onto shore.

Silverflower flopped back onto solid ground, laying still for a moment before rising shakily to her paws. "T-thanks for saving me," she said, her voice still shaking slightly. She gave the fur on her shoulders a few quick licks, laying it down flat again.

Stripepaw didn't say anything. She just stared at Silverflower, her heart cold. What had she done?! Her mother was going to kill her! She unsheathed her claws, wondering if she should push the Medicine Cat back into the river. She decided against it, sheathed her claws, and nodded. "Your welcome. Lets go back to camp."
